About Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres

Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres (CATC) has been helping people recover through judgement-free, compassionate care since the mid 1990s. We are the largest provider of specialized treatment programs for substance use disorder and behavioural addictions in the country. 

Founded in 1995 in response to an urgent need for rapid access to treatment for opioid use disorder, CATC has grown into a national network of programs providing support to communities from coast to coast. We are the only treatment provider of our kind to provide the full spectrum of addictions care, allowing us to meet people where they are and support them in their efforts to identify and achieve their recovery goals.
